Today I view love in a different way. And I’m still figuring out what love is, honestly.
I used to think that love was a fire, a strong passion and attraction for someone. Like love for the first sight.
But when we mature, we start to realize that not always love will start as a first sight.
Love is something that grows with time. Is something that you gotta build and maintain it. Love can be work. Putting effort.
When you love somebody, you make time. You figure it out a way.
What goes wrong in a relationship, is when one person stops putting the effort, and another puts way too much work into it. Cause then it causes imbalance.
Love goes beyond broken promises, empty compliments and fake star gazing. Love goes for acts that speaks louder then just words.
Love is “if you fall, I will catch you.”
Love is companionship.
Love goes beyond traveling together, sharing the same bedroom, wearing a wedding ring, roses and a dinner with candles. Speaking about roses, a random fact is I never got flowers.
Love is about sharing, rather then measuring if is half/half.
Love is not obsession.
Real love feels like fulfillment, rather than emptiness.
Real love feels like a full stomach after eating great food. Rather than craving for more.
Love is loyalty, honesty, and sincerity.
